Writer For Scorsese's Sinatra Biopic
Director Martin Scorsese has been working on this project for a long time. He has said he has always wanted to make a film about the life of the great singer Frank Sinatra, but after his Rat Pack project that had Tom Hanks and John Travolta signed to it failed to make it to the screen, people thought this dream would never see the light of day. Casting News For Kick-Ass 2
Robert Emms (War Horse) and Morris Chestnut (Boyz n the Hood) have both been cast in Kick-Ass 2, the sequel to the hit superhero spoof movie of 2010. Emms will play Insect Man and Morris Chestnut has been cast as "essentially...the guardian".
Chestnut has also landed a role in Brad Anderson's thriller The Hive alongside Halle Berry and Abigail Breslin.
But back to Kick-Ass 2. Another potential cast member is the brilliant funny-man Jim Carrey. Carrey is said to be a big fan of the original film, and is currently in talks to play 'Colonel Stars', a superhero with a military theme.
